Sue Cope Bursary
Following the loss of Sue Cope (Holstein UK CEO) in 2022 a bursary in her memory was launched
a lifetime of dedication to the future of the UK dairy industry
Following the loss of the Holstein UK CEO Sue Cope in 2022, the Board of Trustees have launched a bursary in her memory. Having successfully competed in YMA herself for a number of years, and as a previous winner of the President’s Medal Award, Sue was a great supporter of the next generation.
The bursary is to support Holstein Young Breeders who have an interest in furthering their skillset within the dairy industry. The money provided could be used towards a training course, management programme or to gain a wider knowledge of international farming practices. The bursary is open to all Holstein Young Breeders aged between 18 and 26 on the 1st January of the corresponding year and they must be a current resident within the UK. The young breeder must be interested in taking part in a study course, or similar, related to the dairy industry and applicants will be assessed on merit.
