Alison Lawrie

“I joined HYB and started showing when I was nine years old after attending local Club events as a spectator. Through HYB, I have gained so many friends and contacts in all corners of the UK, and the rest of the world, who I feel I could call on if I ever needed any advice, I have also gained confidence in different areas that I wouldn’t necessarily have pursued if it wasn’t for HYB throwing me into situations where I had to get involved. If you have any interest in the dairy industry - pedigree or not - I can’t think of a better way to gain knowledge and contacts!”

Alison is a member of the Scotland HYB Club and works with her and her husband’s Arranview herd.
